Nightly or short term rental in Medford

My wife and I booked a trip down to Medford for my mother's birthday and arrived at the rental at 5:30PM to a uncleaned house left just as the previous renters had left it. Dirty beds, dirty towels, dirty countertops, dirty toilets, and floors not vacuumed. I contacted the host Lisa right when we arrived and told her we have a child that needed to be put to sleep around 7:30 and that the house hadn't been cleaned. Lisa, the host, did not respond to any of my texts asking for an update until 9:00PM, unacceptable. I informed her that we have a child and needed to cancel the reservation and book somewhere else, again no response until 9 that night. Lisa proceeds to lie to me that she messaged me at 745 that the house was ready. I never received any form of communication stating this and have receipts to prove it. Lisa could't care less what happens to you or your family so beware of booking with her.I've stayed at many VRBOs over the years and this was by far the WORST experience I've ever had. The host was dismissive and very rude. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this "host" and any property she manages.

Hostess worked with us on timing, house was clean however it lacked just a few amenities, such as clothes hangers, sugar for coffee in the morning and a few other little things but all in all it was a great stay. I do think it should be posted that there is only one bathroom upstairs with three bedrooms and just a powder broom downstairs. It was fine for us, but I’m sure some people might be a little surprised. Thank you again.

Very convenient location for us and the house met our needs. Also had a friendly neighborhood cat visit.

We booked this home for my client who was displaced from his home due to water damage. The host was extremely communicative and accommodating. Highly recommend.

The location is good very close to a nice shopping center. When we checked in I asked the host about the WiFi 2txt and 1 call and she didn’t get back to me until the next day. The house said it was 2.5 bathrooms and it had 1.5 bathrooms. I have a pic of the original post. It now has changed. No hand soap in the bathrooms and i thought that was kinda weird.When i pulled back the bedspread it looked the the bedding was not changed I have a picture of that too. There was no check out instructions so I msg the host and never got a response, so we just checked out as we normally do, I still have a double charge pending on my bank account and would like this resolved. The host is aware of this as well. I have Never given a review less than 5 stars. There was also a load of laundry in a laundry basket not sure if it was clean or dirty. We just moved it to the side.
